Mar 14, 2025
Hands-On Learning
Kahua Paʻa Mua
Bringing Education to the ʻĀina
Kahua Paʻa Mua welcomed students from Kohala Adventist School for a day of hands-on education at our teaching farm. The visit provided students with the opportunity to engage directly with the land, deepen their understanding of local agriculture, and experience practices rooted in aloha ʻāina.
This special day focused on nurturing kuleana and inspiring youth to see themselves as future stewards of Kohala.
Farm Activities
Students took part in various interactive activities that highlighted the diversity and richness of sustainability and agriculture in Kohala. From preparing cuttings and planting tuber to learning about plant propagation techniques, every step was a lesson in responsibility, sustainability, and respect for the land.
Mahalo to Kohala Adventist School
Mahalo to the students, teachers, and staff of Kohala Adventist School for joining us on the farm. Their curiosity, energy, and willingness to learn brought new life and laughter to the farm.
At Kahua Paʻa Mua, we believe in cultivating not only crops but also community. We look forward to welcoming more keiki and classrooms in the seasons to come.
